Getting Started

Install StepPro

Download StepPro from the App Store on your iPhone or Apple Watch.

Grant HealthKit Access

Allow StepPro to read step count data from Apple Health when prompted.

Add Your Widget

Long-press your Home Screen or Lock Screen and add the StepPro widget.

Add Watch Complication

On Apple Watch, edit your watch face and select StepPro as a complication.

Frequently Asked Questions

StepPro reads your steps directly from Apple Health. Make sure you have granted HealthKit permission: go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → StepPro and enable "Steps". Also ensure your iPhone or Apple Watch is tracking motion (Settings → Privacy & Security → Motion & Fitness → Fitness Tracking is on).
Long-press an empty area on your Home Screen until icons start jiggling, then tap the + button in the top-left corner. Search for "StepPro", choose your preferred widget size, and tap Add Widget.
On your Apple Watch, press and hold the watch face to enter edit mode. Tap Edit, then swipe to the complications screen. Tap a complication slot and scroll to find StepPro. On iPhone, you can also edit watch faces via the Watch app → My Faces → Edit.
Open the Watch app on your iPhone, go to Face Gallery and choose or customize a face that supports complications. Select a complication slot and scroll to StepPro. Complications update automatically throughout the day.
iOS controls widget refresh to preserve battery life. Widgets typically update every 15–30 minutes. Opening the StepPro app triggers an immediate refresh. If the widget appears stuck, try removing and re-adding it from the Home Screen.
Yes. StepPro works on iPhone only — your iPhone's built-in motion sensor tracks your steps via Apple Health. An Apple Watch is optional but provides more accurate step counting.
No. StepPro reads step data directly from Apple Health and displays it on your device. No data is ever collected, stored on external servers, or shared with third parties. Everything stays on your device.
